The Only Free Academy in Arusha

Every child who trains at Satino does so at zero cost. Equipment, transportation, meals, and tournament fees are all covered. Football should not be gated by a family's income.

Our Mission

More Than a
Football Academy

Satino is rooted in the Sinoni neighborhood of Arusha, in the shadow of Mount Meru. Football is our vehicle. Our destination is the whole child.

Our coaches are all from the local community. They serve as mentors on and off the pitch. In under two years, one player reached the Tanzanian National Youth Camp. Another was selected to the Young Boys Academy, linked to a Danish club. We have competed at the Chipkizi Cup twice.

Tanzanian National Team

One player selected to the national youth camp in Tanga. Professional coaching. Three meals a day. The highest level of youth football in Tanzania.

Young Boys Academy

A second player selected to the Young Boys Academy in Arusha, established by Danish club Young Boys FD.

Arusha City Vijana Cup — 2026

The ADFA's premier tournament for the best U13 team in Arusha. Our U13s lifted the trophy in 2026 — champions of the city — after entering five squads across age groups for three consecutive years.

Arusha District Champions — 2025

Our U13s were crowned Arusha District champions by the ADFA in December 2025 — beating CTIDO 2-1 in the deciding match. The title covers the entire district, not just the city.

Chipkizi Cup — 2023 & 2024

Southeast Africa's largest youth international tournament. In 2024, our U13s beat three Kenyan sides and Fountain Gates A. Anuar was named player of the tournament — 6 goals in 4 games. Our U15 reached the quarterfinals in 2023.

Arumeru Youth League

A founding academy in the Arumeru Youth League since its first edition in 2024. In 2026, Fahad Yassin won the U13 Golden Boot with 25 goals. Our U11s took the Fair Play award.

Satino Queens

Girls' team launched January 2025. Competitive football for young women in Sinoni, where it has long been underserved.

150 balls and full kits through our Focus Foundation partnership. One of several Dutch institutional connections built around SFA.
