What the Academy Needs

Two things wear out faster than we can replace them: footballs and boots. Both are simple to give, and a drive is the most direct way to do it.

Footballs

Our pitch is rough ground and rain fills it with muddy puddles, so balls wear out fast. With nearly 100 players training regularly we have three or four proper balls at any time, far fewer touches than development needs. We take donated balls and money to buy them.

Boots

Playing in rubber sandals on the tindiga is unsafe, and proper boots are out of reach for most families in Sinoni. A used-boot drive is a ready-made project for a school, club or company, and it reaches a player the week it lands.

Volunteer

Come to Sinoni.

Satino Football Academy exists under CHAYETEO, an organization founded and led by Weza in Arusha, Tanzania. CHAYETEO runs school programs, arts initiatives, and community development alongside the football academy. It is the root system that made SFA possible.

Weza brought the founding vision of this academy to life. If you want to come to Sinoni and contribute meaningfully, his Workaway listing is where you start. It connects volunteers with football, teaching, and artistic skills to the CHAYETEO programs on the ground.
