The Roster
Six boys teams. One girls team. All playing for Sinoni.
Boys Academy
All teams are registered with the Tanzania Football Federation. Every player signs a TFF contract — not as a formality, but as a commitment to themselves, their teammates, and the community.
~20 players · Ages 5–9
Our youngest group draws from the immediate area around the Sinoni pitch. Parents have found real safety in this program. We have enough boys ages 5 to 7 training consistently that a U7 team could be assembled today. Their consistency is the foundation of everything we are building.
46+ players · Added February 2024
The U11 team was created in February 2024 when the U13 group overflowed from 23 to 46 players in a matter of months. Our technical coordinator Abou Juma visits the home of every player before they sign. He also asks them to bring friends from school and the street. That is how the academy grows: through relationships, not recruitment.
2025 Arusha District Champions, hosted by ADFA
The U13s carry themselves with a professional attitude that draws comments at every tournament. At the 2023 Chipkizi Cup, coaches from competing teams singled out our group for their discipline and tactical organization. We expect some of these players to move on to higher levels. That is exactly the point.
Competed in 2023 & 2024 Chipkizi Cup
The 2023 Chipkizi Cup run is the standard every SFA team now measures itself against. Undefeated in group play. Down 2-4 in one match, they tied in dying minutes. Down 0-1 at halftime in a win-or-go-home match, they won 2-1. They fell to the eventual champions, Kenya's Midcity Soccer Academy, in the quarterfinals. This team trains through rain cancellations and around players who work to support their families. What they built that tournament week is a direct reflection of what our coaches put into them every session.
2025 Baptist Cup Champions
The U17s include Sancho, selected to the Arusha Talent Team for the Pamoja Cup 2023. Many of these players have been part of the Satino program since before the academy's formal founding. They are the living connection between where we came from and where we are going.
Senior competitive · Local cups & friendlies
Our oldest squad competes in friendly tournaments and local cups across Arusha. They represent Sinoni and serve as the example that every younger group looks toward. A decade of commitment to the game, visible every time they take the pitch.
Girls Program
Launched January 2025. Girls' football in Arusha has been underserved for too long. In Sinoni, we are changing that. The Queens program runs on the same foundation as the boys academy: free, community-based, and built around the whole person.
We are just getting started.

This is not a slogan. It is how we operate. On the tindiga, in the community, and across the partnerships built from Sinoni to Amsterdam to the United States.
